Information

  • A paper in the published proceedings of a conference are referenced as a Book Chapter.
  • A conference paper published in a journal is referenced as a Journal Article.
  • A paper or poster presented at a conference but not yet published is usually cited only in a note and omitted from the bibliography.

Standard format for citation

Conference paper in published conference proceedings:

Author of  Paper, A. A., and B. B. Author of Paper. "Title of Paper." In Title of Conference: Subtitle of Conference, Location, Date, Year. Publisher, Year of Publication. URL or Database Name if published online.

 

Conference proceedings:

Editor A. A., and B. B. Editor, eds. Title of Conference: Subtitle of Conference, Location, Date, Year. Publisher, Year of Publication.
