This EndNote guide is based on EndNote 20
Only continuing students who have already commenced theses or other major works should continue to use EndNote X9.
EndNote is a software application for storing, managing, searching and sharing your references.
EndNote can help you:
EndNote allows you to format your citations and references by arranging data in your EndNote library into various templates. However, EndNote will not correct your references if the data itself is wrong. You need to know how to use your required referencing style correctly before using any citation manager.
For guidance on various referencing styles, please go to our referencing guide.
Murdoch University has a license to EndNote, which allows you to download a copy to your own device for your research and study.
You can access a PDF copy of our EndNote Training Guide below. Please consult the training guide first; if you have more specific issues, Ask our Librarians.
