Procedures Advice Manual

AGLC Rule 3.4 applies to the Procedures Advice Manual, as the policy is stated within legislation.

When you are citing the Procedures Advice Manual (PAM) in a document, it must divided into the parts of the document just as you would divide an Act into sections.
This will enable you to make pinpoint references that are easily followed.

For example:

If the section has numbered paragraphs:

Department of Home Affairs (Cth), Procedures Advice Manual 3: Division 5.3 – Approval of nominated positions (employer nomination), para 25.3.

If the section does not have numbered paragraphs:

Department of Home Affairs (Cth), Procedures Advice Manual 3: Division 5.3 – Approval of nominated positions (employer nomination).
