Legislative Instruments

Legislative instruments are covered by AGLC rule 3.9.2.

Include the jurisdiction in parentheses after the name of the government department of officer.

Include the document number only if it appears on the instrument.

The Full Date should be the date from which the instrument takes effect.

 

The structure of this citation is similar to that of a Regulation or Act, but it includes the IMMI and FRLI numbers to make sure that the Legislative Instrument can be easily identified.

Below are examples of how to cite a legislative instrument.
