A guide for teaching staff who wish to maintain their own reading lists in My Unit Readings.

How to embed your list in LMS

You can embed a reading list from My Unit Readings into your teaching material in LMS.

  1. Log in to the Learning Management System (LMS), select your unit and turn editing on.
  2. Select 'Add an activity or resource'; under 'Activities' select 'My Unit Readings'.
  3. Click 'Select content', then if required, on the Authenticate page press 'Click to Continue'.
  4. Search the unit code or list name, and from the results click either Select section (to embed a specific week) or Embed list (to embed the full list). 
  5. Check the Activity name has been auto-populated and click 'Save and return to unit'

If your list is not appearing correctly or is linking to an archived list, delete the Talis Resource icon, and follow the steps above.
