Changes to how you request books from other libraries

The Library is changing how you can request books from other libraries.

We will be ceasing our current book sharing service BONUS+ from the 9th September 2022. This is due to steady reduction in usage, along with an increase in costs to provide this service.

If you have a BONUS+ item currently on loan, please return it  by the due date. You can check the due date of your items on loan by logging into MyLibrary or by calling us on (08) 9360 2563. We are unable to provide renewals for BONUS+ items currently on loan.

From 10th September, you can still request books from other libraries using our Document Delivery service. If we do not have a print item available directly from our collections, send us your request and our library staff will do their best to supply the item to you. This service is available to all Murdoch students and staff. For instructions and more information on our document delivery service, see Borrowing from other Libraries.

The major library systems upgrade planned for later this year will allow the Library to offer a quicker and easier way to request books from other libraries. We look forward to sharing more details on this service, along with many other new and improved features as soon as we can.
