The following collections from the Murdoch University Special Collections may be of use to Screen Production students and researchers. These collections include manuscripts, oral history, pictures, rare printed items, and memorabilia.
- Film Tie-In Paperback Collection - The collection consists of four types of international film and TV tie-ins which have a direct relationship with and compliment specific films:-
- Original novels have subsequently been made into films
- Reissues of previous novels which have been adapted into films
- Novelizations of film screenplays
- Novels based on films
- Science Fiction
- Leigh Edmonds Collection (mainly Australian 1960s-1980s fandom material)
- Science Fiction Collection (ethnographic Special Collection archive of science fiction fandom, in addition to a large and nationally-significant lending collection of Science Fiction novels)

- Play scripts from TV script production course
- Toronto Film Society programme notes
