SafeWA - COVID-19 contact register at the Library

Under Government instruction, from 5 December 2020, some venues in Western Australia will be required to maintain contact registers to allow the Department of Health to conduct rapid contact tracing in the event of a COVID-19 outbreak.

It is a requirement that staff and students visiting the Library, and other on-campus locations, scan Murdoch’s QR code upon entry using the SafeWA mobile app.

What do I need to do?

Download the SafeWA mobile app to your phone, register then scan the QR code at the entrance when you visit any of our locations. The QR code signs are prominently located at each entrance.

I don’t have a smartphone – what do I do?

Physical paper sign-in sheets will also be provided near the entrance if you don't have a smartphone.

What about the Mandurah campus?

Staff and students are also required to register their attendance at the library on the Mandurah campus.

For more information, read the University's recent announcement.
