The peak intergovernmental forum in Australia. COAG comprises the Prime Minister, State Premiers, Territory Chief Ministers and the President of the Australian Local Government Association (ALGA). The Prime Minister, Premiers and Chief Ministers agreed to establish COAG in May 1992.
