Information Skills

During the year the Murdoch Campus Library will offer monthly information skills classes and EndNote training to all University staff and students.

Please Note: At various times during the year, information skills classes will also be offered at the Rockingham and Peel Campus Libraries.

Classes which may be offered include:

  • Databases and Ejournals: An Overview
  • Finding Journal Articles for Your Essays
  • Introduction to referencing with Chicago style
  • Introduction to referencing with APA style
  • An Introduction to EndNote for Windows

    Bookings are essential and can be made by emailing Janice Pell in the Library at j.pell@murdoch.edu.au (or by phoning Janice on 9360 2154).

     
     

    Student Learning


    Student Learning also offer a range of workshops in language and literacy, numeracy, English language for non-native speakers (ESL) and academic skills during both semester teaching weeks and non-teaching weeks. All of these workshops are free.
