What can I put in LMS?

a book only if explicit permission has been granted by the publisher or copyright owner, otherwise use My Unit Readings
an eBook you may embed a link to the eBook from LMS
an article from a hardcopy journal articles may not be uploaded to LMS. Use My Unit Readings
an article from a journal in the Library's databases

usually you may embed a link to the article from LMS

pdf of an item online usually you may embed a link to the item from LMS
pdf of an item online licensed as 'free for education' upload the pdf; check with Copyright Coordinator if unsure of licence terms
an image from a book these may not be uploaded to LMS. Use My Unit Readings
an image online images that have been licensed with Creative Commons or another 'free' licence may be uploaded to LMS. All other images must go in My Unit Readings
any image/text/quiz or other content from the Library's Free to Share resources must include the original Creative Commons or other 'free' licence details with the content
YouTube YouTube videos must not be downloaded or copied, but you may embed a link to the video
Screenrights recordings ie. recordings of broadcasts received in Australia from radio, TV, podcasts etc
you may embed a link in LMS to the recording in LCS
commercially produced DVDs or videos cannot link or add
your own lecture notes, unit guide, slide presentations, and other Murdoch Uni © works  

 

can be uploaded to LMS but no third party content, unless Creative Commons licensed or permission has been granted to use the content

publisher instructor's package, including slides, text, images, diagrams, videos, etc may be uploaded to LMS. You must not remove any copyright information from the material
SCORM objects all content must either be your own work or appropriately licensed content e.g. Creative Commons licensed images, etc

Please remember: all third party content must be referenced

 

Set column to be double width (column 2 and 3)
