Transnational Education (TNE): Learning Management System (LMS)

An introduction to providing transnational education at Murdoch

Learning Management System (LMS)

Murdoch uses Moodle for its Learning Management System (LMS) to create web-based units and deliver lecture materials and other learning resources. It also provides the tools for communication and assessment purposes e.g. quizzes, self tests and assignments. It is possible to add links to other resources such as, My Unit Readings, Lecture Capture System (LCS), Urkund, etc.

What can I put in LMS?

The following learning materials can also be delivered through MUR, but you may prefer to upload some of them to your unit’s LMS site:

      • the material is part of an instructor's package provided by a publisher
      • the material is licensed for sharing – e.g. with a Creative Commons licence
