'Open access' is a term used to describe digital, online literature which is free of charge and may have been licensed by the copyright owner for use in some ways that otherwise might require their specific permission. 'Open access' does not necessarily mean you are free to use the material in any manner you like: it may only mean you are able to copy and download an article, for instance, for your own personal study and research.

A range of open access resources are available via the Library. Please check the conditions of use found in the 'More Information' link for each resource.
