Research Data Management Training


  • Australian National Data Service (ANDS)  
    Provides: guidance concerning eResearch data ownership and the roles and responsibilities associated with ownership; access to research data collected and maintained with public funding; and best practice for the curation of experimental, research and published data. 

    ANDS receives funding and allocates funding for projects throughout Australia to create and develop an Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) infrastructure.
  • ANDS Copyright, Data and Licensing guide
    This guide gives specific guidance to copyright as it relates to research data and should be read in conjunction with information specific to copyright compliance at Murdoch University.
  • ANDS Ethics, Consent and Data Sharing guide
    This guide is intended for those engaged in research involving human subjects which is subject to ethics approval, and for those with a role to play in the Human Research Ethics Committees which oversee the research.
  • ANDS Publishing and Sharing Sensitive Data guide
    This guide outlines best practice for the publication and sharing of sensitive research data in the Australian context.
  • Guidelines for Responsible Data Management in Scientific Research
    This guide, funded by the US Office of Research Integrity, discusses the planning, implementation and maintenance of data management policies and procedures.

  • Research Data Australia
    Research Data Australia is a discovery service for Australian research data. Search by collections, researchers or organisations.
  • CloudStor+ (AARNeT)
    CloudStor+ is a web service developed by AARNet’s eResearch group to facilitate the sharing of data files between researchers.
    A global registry of research data repositories that covers research data repositories from different academic disciplines.
  • figshare
    Allows researchers to share their research in a secure, searchable and citable location.
  • Pawsey Supercomputing Centre
    The Pawsey Supercomputing Centre is an unincorporated joint venture between CSIRO, Curtin University, Edith Cowan University, Murdoch University and The University of Western Australia and is supported by the Western Australian and Federal Governments. Provides services in the areas of supercomputing, visualisation, and data storage and analysis.
  • National eResearch Collaboration Tools and Resources (NeCTAR)
    A federally funded project to develop national eResearch collaboration infrastructure.
